Client Project Manager


Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Client Project Manager is to process, implement, and manage the assigned Client Projects in an effective, efficient and expedient manner. To analyze and identify accurate savings opportunities to benefit the Client. This position works closely with the Sales Representatives, Audit personnel, Suppliers/Vendors, Subject Matter Experts, and the individual Clients. This position will focus on communicating progress updates to the Sales Representatives and the Clients.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Receive, format, categorize, and manage the Client’s Accounts Payable file
  • Assist the Sales Representative with defining the target categories to analyze
  • To create the Client’s Preliminary Analysis and Savings Report
  • To collect and organize Client invoice data and contracts
  • To create and manage the RFI / RFP
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute the RFP to suppliers/vendors
  • To analyze the bids
  • To prepare the Final Report with recommendations
  • To effectively summarize in writing the work performed during the project for the final presentation
  • To work closely with the Clients and winning Vendors to ensure that the new pricing is implemented
  • To notify losing bidders
  • To assist with the post implementation audit
  • To effectively communicate weekly project status updates to the Client and Sales Representatives
  • To maintain current updates in all of the respective spreadsheets and data bases
  • To identify and escalate all Client Projects that are not processed in a timely manner
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Special projects and duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations

 

Recommended Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Degree
  • Minimum 10 years project management experience
  • Business Experience: Purchasing, Consulting, Customer Service, Sales
  • Supplier negotiations experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel focus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, occasionally in urgent situations
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees and clients
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail
  • Experience at working independently and as a Team Player in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Commitment to the values, mission, and vision as established by Alliance Cost Containment’s strategic plan
