About Judy Karlov

Judy Karlov has developed the procurement skills she brings to ACC during 25 years of senior management experience in the corporate world. She successfully negotiated and executed multi-million-dollar general construction contracts, leases and professional service agreements as an executive of corporations including Ameritech and Smith Barney, and as consultant to the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell. In each case, Judy worked with clients with whom she built outstanding long-term relationships. Her extensive experience in comparative financial analysis and project management enables her to help her current clients maximize their profitability through expense reduction.


Judy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Illinois / Champaign-Urbana.

Professional & Community Involvement

Judy has played an active role as guest lecturer and advisor to the DeVry University College of Business. She has been a leader in professional organizations including: ProVisors; Turnaround Management Association (TMA) – Women’s Group Chair; Commercial Real Estate Executive Women (CREW) – Networker of the Year and Communications Committee; Women Health Executives Network (WHEN) – Board of Directors.
Judy’s community involvement includes Friends of Downtown – Board of Directors, Streeterville Organization of Active Residents (SOAR) and Imerman Angels. She lives and offices in downtown Chicago.

About David Fields

David has the distinction of being the longest-tenured cost reduction consultant within the ACC family, having started his practice in 1996. He has helped dozens of companies achieve significant cost savings over time. Prior to being part of ACC, David was employed in the computer industry for 11 years in management, sales, marketing, customer service and purchasing. He is an active member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church and the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. David holds a BA in Business Management and Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa.

Her 20 years of comprehensive experience includes over nine years with AT&T, where she held a multitude of positions with escalating responsibilities. She and her husband then co-founded and built a successful medical device company in which she played an integral part in many areas of the business. Her breadth of experience with both small and large-sized companies enables her to partner with organizations to achieve their cost saving goals and increase their bottom lines.

About Eileen Flarity

Eileen is a Principal with Alliance Cost Containment in our New Jersey office. Prior to joining ACC, she was a Vice President in the Information Technology department of Goldman Sachs. Her responsibilities included project management, quality assurance and business analysis. Additionally, Eileen held positions as an Operations Manager and Process Manager. Before Goldman Sachs, she was a Senior Systems Analyst at Gemini Systems in New York City, and an Operations Management Consultant at Chatham Consulting in New York City, a Senior Sales Executive at ITT Communications in Secaucus, NJ, Assistant Marketing Director for The Rouse Company in Woodbridge, NJ, and Chief Copywriter at WADB Radio in Belmar, NJ.

Eileen and her partner, Dan Peterson, have a combined 24 years of cost containment experience. Their clients include Conair Corporation, Sharp Corporation, the New York Jets, Catholic Charities, New England Motor Freight, YMCA and Sika Corporation. Eileen has been named in the Top 25 Women Entrepreneurs for the State by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. She serves as Vice President of her local Board of Education and is on the Finance Committee of her local church.

About Dan Peterson

Dan is a Principal of Alliance Cost Containment in our suburban Philadelphia office. Prior to joining ACC, he held an Associate position in the Marketing Department of the Hedge Fund Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs. Dan also held positions at Goldman Sachs as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in their Information Technology Group. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he was an Accounting Supervisor at Crestmont Federal Savings. Dan is a member and past President of his local Rotary Club and serves as the Chair of the Grant Committee at the District level, and is an active volunteer with the local Little League baseball program. Dan holds a BS degree in Business Administration and Finance from Northeastern University.

About Dan McHugh

Dan brings over 40 years of experience in operations and purchasing from such organizations as Dresser Industries, Cascade Corporation, Hobart Corporation and Dap, Inc., not to mention his ACC practice since 1998. He led Hobart’s efforts to centralize purchasing for 26 plant locations while serving as Chair of their Metals group in Chicago responsible for a $150,000,000 budget. As Chair of this group, he was also responsible for plant metal purchases for PreCor and West Bend. Contracts established by Dan are still in effect today. Additionally, Dan has been in charge of all freight activities for Dap, Inc., as well as being responsible for plant centralization of purchases, variance reporting to sales, and managing purchasing of all chemicals.
