Alliance Cost Containment merges largest franchise
Louisville-based Alliance Cost Containment, a company that helps large, privately held companies and private equity sponsored companies reduce their operating expenses, has merged with the largest of its 24 franchises, The Cost Reduction Group.
The parent company made the move, which was completed earlier this month, in part to better manage sales leads from Derby Agency LLC, a company with whom ACC has partnered with to grow its sales. (For more about Derby Agency, see this article in Business First.)
Alliance Cost Containment plans to add four or five new employees over the next few weeks, Miles Lee said. He declined to reveal revenue figures for the company but said it is growing.
Much of the revenue growth is coming from a change in sales strategy implemented a year ago, Lee said. Whereas the company once worked exclusively through franchises, it now sells its services directly in cities where it doesn’t have a franchise, he said.
He expects that the company will grow even more because of the partnership with Derby Agency.
